So what is this 'blogging" thing?

So what is this"blogging" thing? So I have to admit, I never got it.  What the hell does any one person have to say that is so damn important?  And what makes them so much more important than me? I have friends who blog on MySpace, and it is usually to call someone out, free therapy, or to be grateful to all of us who actually read the things.  Do they know that we only read them because we are nosey ? We are only looking for dirt or just to make sure they are not trash talking us.  It seems a way to continue to be a 14 year old girl for the rest of your life!
